Nice, simple browser! But can it compete with Firefox?

Look at it this way: Mozilla is a public-benefit, non-profit group dedicated to some open-source projects like Firefox, Thunderbird and SeaMonkey. What about Google? Google relies on its "cool" features and applications to sell more ads!

My favorite feature of Chrome is the fact that all tabs are a separate processes, you can kill any frozen tab without interfering with other tabs!

Chrome is also using some kind of page thumbs that Opera introduced a while back called Speed dial….only Opera’s speed dial is better because it allows you to choose your favorite 9 sites.

But If you installed Chrome then you also installed the Google Updater which runs silently in the background each and everytime you run your computer regardless of whether you have Chrome open or not. I also doubt that it's as secure as Firefox.

Nothing can beat the fox!

It's a nice browser but it's not secure, it can download exe files to your pc without asking your or even launch Java applets without request.
In general stay away from betas, most of the time they're not worth using.

Opera has always been the best browser. I can't figure anything you would want in a web browser it couldn't do, without even talking about all the widgets you could add.

It seems the big fuss about Chrome is fading out.

Within hours of its launch, Chrome garnered a 1% browser share, but it has faded somewhat since then. According to Net Applications (source), Chrome's share has stabilized at about 0.7%, just slightly more than Opera, which had previously held down the No. 4 spot, behind IE, Firefox and Apple Inc.'s Safari.

Who is still using Chrome?
