It only works on Windows XP with service pack 2 or higher, and on Vista.
Mac and Linux users have to wait.

I am also using it and except some minor problems I like it a lot.

my problems:
- Youtube videos are not running on Chrome but load normally with other
browsers.

- I did not like that the adress bar is also the search engine. I prefer to have a proper search toolbar...

- Still no option of add-ons especially toolbars.

for the positive points, just watch this video, it says it all...

I did not notice any difference, moreover Chrome uses up to 4 times Less memory usage then FF or IEx. so your PC is not slowed down.

1- very interesting interface and very very appealing
2- once the page is browsed it opens back really fast . which means in the future it when u can open websites like youtube and metacafe for buffering it will reload them only not trying to read them from the beginning
3- it is faster than FF and IE
4- i dont think its gona be a long forgotten browser like opera its definitely in the WAR of browsers.
5- i love the google search bar and the url bar together.
6- lets hope some guys can come up soon with cool and useful add-ons and plugins. ( because personally i use the FF and its soooo customized that i feel strange using any normal web browser and for instance WOT the plug in for FF is very useful and saved my *** more than a 100 times from spammed websites.)

long live google

Definitely a cracking browser.
If they start doing addons for it, as kael mentioned (especially the NoScript addon), I guess everyone will switch to it.

I just installed it to try it... i looks nice and simple, but definitely not better than other browsers (memory wise)... just opening the orange forum i have 2 processes of chrome.exe (opening more tabs means more processes). And it is taking ~55mb just to open the forum. Firefox 3 does it with at least 10mb less of memory. Keep in mind that Chrome is running without any addons yet that will slow it down (i have at least 5 active addons in firefox).

Yes it does have issues with memory plus it is vulnerable to some dated attacks. It is kind of strange from google that they are using the old version of the apple webkit to build chrome.
Anyways its google's strategy to keep its products labeled in beta ;) .
Heck even gtalk is still beta lol.
