Why would COD 4 be better than the new version? And btw, you get used quickly to play FPS games from an analog controller. I have no problems at all in doing so. |
well ya sure the analog controller can grow on u, but i never prefered it to the mouse. it's just easier, faster and more precise to shoot ppl with a mouse hehe.
as for cod5, well on the whole i prefer cod4 cuz in the solo campaign cod4 was developed by the original cod developer team and there isn't a moment of deja vu or boredom. cod5 has a good solo campaign (expect the rainstorm of ticking grenades thrown at u this time around) but it doesn't compare to the campaign of the cod4. cod5 like cod3 (by the same backup developers) just don't feel original enough for me. but they are still good games.
cod4 intro levels and cutscenes made us all go 'wow', while cod5's intro levels made me at least sigh and yawn with a bit of 'ah lame..'
as for the multiplayer side, cod5 is recycling cod2 and borrowing from cod4 (cod2 was insanely fun to play on networks) but brings very little new. cod4 on the other hands was a whole new network experience.
the weapons of cod4 still shine, and the weapons of cod5 still feel like cod2 recycled.
as for the pc version, cod4 had no problems, but cod5 was released with inferior grafix, shoddy performance and very nice bugs some of which won't let u even run the game if u don't manually edit and create profile files.
that's just not right hehe
so that's my personal preference here, u don't need to agree with it but i'm just telling u why cod4 is better than cod5 in my eyes.
:)
