Default International calls from Lebanon - 11th October 2006

Hi,

Recently, ppl started using KALAM card for international callings. However, the rate is almost the same as the one set by Ogero. I heard of CALLBACK method being used with much lower rate. Any idea about that?

Personally, I am still using SKYPE (voice chat)

thx bunches.

hi
you are assigned a special unlisted U.S. phone number that you will call and then hang up on after one ring. Since you hang up BEFORE a connecting answer, there is no charge for the call from your national or local phone company. However, the callback company computer has been signaled that you called and it will IMMEDIATELY call you back.
Its very practical more than the Kalam cards but I dont know if u can find em now coz after the war they stopped selling em .. Cant find em anywhere around where I live ..

It's relatively easy to get callback cards there,
for those interested PM me your region I can give you someone to contact.
NEVER use local callbacks found in various shops for the public, they're local and a rip-off!

You can call any landline in Lebanon using Skype for $0.123/mn (Mobile $0.245)
http://www.skype.com/products/skypeo...=USD#listing-L

Skype quality is good specially if we have a good internet connection.
I use it very oftnen to call the US & France ($0.021/mn) with a 256 connection and it works fine

By the way Skype to skype is totally free
