OK there you go, let me see the thanks
If you already own a garmin, Go to Mapwel - Download get the mapupload file
then go to Map list get the only binary file on this page
Then plug in your garmin in USB, run mapupload, let it detect the GPS, load the img file map and upload it to your GPS and there you go, you got all lebanon on your garmin
Please send an email to George Kalash to thank him for the maps his email is on that page listed above

by Secure mail to Lebanon it will cost them the same and even a bit more...

the device start at 450$ in the Lebanese Market with a 120$ map included in the price and first year free update. So if you buy the device for 200$ shipped for how much 50 or 70$? thats 270$ + 120$ map = 390$ you would have the device cheaper but with no warranty.

The 750$ device doesnt only include bluetooth it has also Lebanon Map and the GCC countries (worth 300$) preloaded.

Remember the important here is not the device but rather the maps with their 30 000 points of interests not available in any other map for Lebanon available on the net or in the market.

Those are plain maps good for navigation... NAVLEB + Garmin are offering more then just maps, they have the search option and the locate + 30 000 POS (point of interest) that you can base your search and navigation on.

It all depends on what you want to pay, this is for free and many people will be happy to have stuff for free, if you want to pay $300 for 30,000 POS where usually 3/4 are not of any interests, it is your choice.
By the way these maps still have some POS, i don't know how many but it is not totally empty of POS

tom tom and garmin are not compatible with each other, so every software uses its own files.
It's a matter of choice, you can use the one that suits you. Till now i haven't found a map for tomtom.
I downloade the binary file posted by Danny, the .img and put it in its directory, but i can't view it! I'm using garmin xt on n82!

The image file is zipped in that binary file, all you have to do is unzip the binary file then transfer the .img file it to your gamin GPS using the Mapwel program, this for garmin GPS units not Nokia loaded with Garmin software.
