Default FAST and UNLIMITED Internet connection? - 27th April 2009

Anyone knows if any companies are offering such a connection. I really need a fast and unlimited connection since there are so many stuff to download and I can't stay up all night to get a couple of the things I want (unlimited offered at night for 8 hrs).

Thanks for any suggestions/referrals

I believe Sodetel is still promoting for unlimited plans at night. But the problem is that you never know if they will keep on

Question can be rephrased "Is there any mages in Lebanon"?
FAST and UNLIMITED is available... but cost is not affordable for end-user.

Why wouldn't they go for unlimited? Is it because they make more money out of ripping you for extra bandwidth? I've been planning on getting a rapidshare account, but it's obsolete with a limited internet connection. Sucks.

Default Fastest Internet connection available? - 4th May 2009

Where can I get the fastest internet connection possible here in Lebanon? Can a company like Cisco install some kind of system for me that is as fast as that found in the US?

Does Cisco install in Lebanon? Don't they classify Lebanon in the same class as Syria and Iran?

What Cisco have to do with internet speed? :-D What a nonsense...

About ripping and etc. Well, if u think u think someone ripping, join this business, and show how u can provide super-cheap internet.

heard earlier from a friend whose brother works in telecommunications that the infrastructural upgrades for the new internet lines (announced by Gebran Bassil 2 months or so ago) are progressing nicely and are expected to be completed sometime around summer. something along the lines of 512 kbps being upgraded to 2 mbps (i.e. same price) and the corresponding bandwidth limits being bumped up to 20 GB / month.

dont quote me on this but lets stay hopeful

Cisco doesn't install directly in Lebanon, they have representatives like BMB,Quantech, Data Consult and CIS.
Cisco management only run the operations plus the support in Lebanon.
