hi , is there any place in leb where u an access a fast internet connection , ye3ni 512 kb/s or 1 mb/s
asdi shi network place somewhere or something similar
i need to download about 1 gb of drivers ......urgent

best place would be a university if you have someone inside or a ministry... if not, get dsl or some broadband and keep it downloading during the night, I usually download series on my wireless connection, takes 1 night for ~500mb...

yessss 1 GB of drivers
i didn't calculate them ye3neh , but i estimate the size to be near 1 gb
ye3ni iza el quickplay 150 mb and nvidia drivers 120
then yeah with the rest they will reach easily 500 mb .....
i will put xp on my laptop , and since HP don't provide xp drivers for my laptop because it's only for vista so i will download drivers from everywhere , and i found some on the net with a guide , i will get xp with almost all of the drivers installed , the remote control and maybe another lame function will not work , but i am not concerned
this vista is killing me .........today i got the weirdest media player error ever :s i had to restart to make it work again ........ and yet , when i put te pc on sleep this error will come back and i will have to restart again
also today i was playing a game and in the same time listening to songs , paused and switched to media player to delete the currently playing file from the playlist to skip to the next track w tel3etleh el error :S
i had to restart .........
when this error occur , everything work normally but i cant play any track with media player unless i restart
anyway i honestly don't wanna know what's this error about , i only want to throw my vista away

give your links to your friends and have each one download a driver and then collect them. check the internet for someone who already downgraded to XP, you might run into problems you never accounted for and wished you still had vista, it's worth checking.
I haven't got a new laptop yet because they all come with vista

finding a fast internet service? in Lebanon? LOL

best advice i can give u is either download it at someguy's Computer who's using Cable internet and leave it on for a night or so

or get DSL/download it from Some1 who uses DSL(NOT FROM OGERO) and leave it downloading from 11PM to 7AM.. hmm let's say the DSL connection's 512kbps, u would probably get 104-120KB/s (that is because of the 2X speed from 8PM>8AM) and it would take about 3Hours to download a 1GB File.

Downloading Huge Drivers updates is a nightmare for Lebanese.

ehehehe that what kept me from buying a lappy from the first place
but then i found the solution
toshiba satellite pro come with vista business and a xp recovery dvd but they are expensive
HP , for almost 200$ less and same specs come with vista only (and they don't give support to ppl who want to install xp)
so ....i searched and searched and searched

iza msh mesta3jel 3al laptop it's one thing , but if u have to get it and vista is the only thing that's keeping u from buyin it , then the problem is solved
check the first link and and notice how the situation was evolved lol , bel ekher evey single problem was solved , even for the remote control and the orange light of the mute button
there's a user who wrote some kind of a script that should be copied into the registry editor so u can remap your remote control in xp and make every button work like you want lol

I think the error you are talking abt is familiar to me. You need to close Youtube and retry to play songs and everything will work fine by then.
