I do not think that the upload speed of the 256kbps is enough. Anyhow, go for Ogero.

you tell me that 256 IDM or Cyberia will work fine at night with the double speed? and 512 IDM or cyberia will 100% work fine?

Fifa 09, Killzone2 and MGS4 did you try any of these online?

best,

Hey there.....I have a 512 kbps connection from IDM and it works just fine. Played the first Resistance and the second one with no problems at all. Call of Duty 4 lately had been giving me some problems (high ping times). As for Metal Gear Online, forget it. I've been downloading the update for the game since forever and I guess the game would suck online due to the extreme lag. I guess this is for 2 reasons: Konami sucks when it comes to online play (case in point PES 2008 and 2009), and I guess the servers hosting the games are too far from Lebanon.

Hope this helps....

I use a 512 kbps DSL connection from IDM. I have played Killzone 2 and its mostly lag-free. However, I didn't find that many matches (none in the MidEast) and I guess, going forward, matches will be hard to find considering that Uncharted 2 and more importantly, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 are coming out.

It's impossible to spend pleasant gaming hours on a Lebanese connection, don't bother trying to find the best ISP, they are all the same, because the main source is the same and the distance is the same, they will sell you absolute ****, and then rub 3 words in your face the moment you call their support to complain Fair Usage Policy .
My Cyberia internet connection package falls under FUP, that means my 512 connections drops to 80% less from 7 to 1:00, the only free time i have to go online for longer periods.
If you want a great connection move out of the country instead of being forced to get ripped off here.

Yeah I live in Lebanon and Syria... I have 2MB Syria paying(Unlimited download/1mb upload) $120 for it a month and IDM 1 MB Connection in Lebanon. For some weird reason the only good thing about IDM is PS3 online gaming, rest of the things I wait till I get to Syria to do. :(

Back in the old days we used to come to Lebanon for good interent, before the ADSL era began in Syria... I remember the fastest download I seen was in LAU Beriut 300-400 kbs.. ofcourse couple of years back LAU limited the download.. hehe probably cuz of us.

We even used to buy Cyberia Interent cards to use in Syria.. imagine how much that used to cost us..... Lebanon used to be always number 1 when it comes to the interent.... and now.. no comment.
