at first you think that way...but when analysng the situation : a desktop would be considred more like an "immobilier" in the office just like a photocopier and else...it's unmovability makes it less fragile to chocs , coffee spiling,...and are laptops easily repaired as desktops ?

all depends on what are you going to use them for
desktops are cheaper than laptops for better configuration and are easily upgraded you can add whatever you want while it's harder for laptops

but laptops take less place and you can take them wherever you want (like at home to continue the work you didn't finish and work all weekend )

personnaly i'll go for the desktops they have a better performance and and break less than laptops

laptop all day power on will shorten the life of the battery very fast, without mentioning the technical problems that will occur.
As you're working in offices, on desks, so get a desktop.easy.
Desktops more reliable, more powerful, more resistant to damage.
I'd go for desktops and lcd screens.

i would go for desktops, they are faster and money savers, in price and in repairs later on.. laptops are a good option if you for example have a mobile meeting place, though i would personally go with desktops

Desktops are defenitly a better choice. You'll always be able to upgrade them, and you don't need more than one computer with a projector in a conference room. It can be easily solved with a much cheaper price.

from your replies all , i think i will go for desktop...but especially also for the weekend reason

just another question , maybe someone can answer: concerning power consumption: between laptop and desktop , i feel laptops are less consumers ?
