Default Daylight Savings Time 2007 Changes - 3rd March 2007

The United States, Canada, and several other countries have changed the dates of their daylight savings time observance beginning in 2007. This year, daylight savings time will begin on March 11 and end on November 4.

This change will have an impact on business' information technology .
One example is Outlook Calendar. For those who use the outlook to track meetings, tasks, deadlines might face some issues, as time periods may not reflect the accurate meeting time, etc...

Because of this year’s changes, the time period of greatest concern is from March 11 through the date DST would normally start, April 1, 2007. The dates from October 28 through November 4 are also affected.

What is the solution for this? and how can we overcome these problems? anybody know of any software or aware of a solution?

As always, Bill Gates has you in mind.

Read on here:

If you're running your updates you should be fine.
But just to be sure, follow the steps from the link above.

If you get any error messages saying a newer update has already been installed, then you're already on the safe side.
