Its kind of weird how no one talked about Blizzard and its legendary RTS/RPG games:
Diablo 1/2, Starcraft:BW, Warcraft TFT,

+RELIC games
Dawn of war:DC, and ofcourse Company Of Heroes which is a 2006 GOTY IMO.

I lost interest in EA games after Generals with is crappy Netcode which even lagged on high end systems. I tried getting into BFME 2 but unfortunatly the slow pace style made me hate it. All my hopes are on C&C 3..oh well.. at least we have blizzard and THQ. Supcom is looking fantastic but unfortunalty needs a high end system. I am not in the mood of starting a console war now with all who say pc games only bring good graphics :) (no offence) but have you tried games such as the games i already listed+ max payne series, far cry, ut series, mafia,..etc the list goes on and on.

Paul, I play Dawn of War:DC as well. If you hang out on the Relic forums, you'll know my name. I consider this a really good RTS game if you like sci-fi and you have a stomach for number-crunching. I LOVE statistics, like this:

Most MMORPG games I have been very disapointed in. I have tried most since UO first came out. The treadmill is too long and as a casual player, I cannot compete with the 12 year old kids who play 8 hours a day. I don't want to log into a game and beat on rats for 3 hours only to have Lord Shiny Butt come over and PK me without any chance for me at all.

I played Counter-strike a lot in the day, but not for a long time. Same with Doom3, but it has terrible netcode. And they still allow bunny hopping, which is just absurd.

BF2 I played for ages, but every time I try and get back into it, I'm bored. Though I have about a 2:1 kill:death ratio!!! /polishes his shotgun

I hear mixed reviews on Battlefield 2042 so I don't think I'll get it.

For a fun, stupid game, I bought Freedom Force 2. Cost $9.99. Had a lot of fun. It's like old style comic books.

I've been gaming for so long I was invited to work at EA games and Vivendi, but they work too hard and pay too little. And I like having games as entertainment as opposed to work. What would I do for fun then, accounting?

Some of my favorite all-time games were Quake 2, Tribes, Everquest Race Wars server (so you could only fight people within 4 levels of you), Battlefield 1942, Shadowbane MMORPG. Oh, and Super Mario Brothers...

I'm currently playing a monster of a game called Medieval Total War 2. If you are a Total War fan then you know exactly what I'm talking about. This game is pure genious and a must-have for all strategy fans out there.

Starcraft is a classic, i play it just for teh fun of it but the AI can still kick my *** sometimes.

Im playing it too, but i got unlucky cuz i got it with the speeches in German so its kinda annoying.
NOTE: This game is a bit hardware demanding so check the requirements before buying it

* Dropped Bully because it's kind of boring.

* Still playing FFXII. One juggernaught of a game !

* Still playing Shadow Hearts. Gosh i hate levelling up in RPG's .. why don't we get over this ** and go straight to the story parts !!!

* I'm thinking of starting Shin Megami Tensei - Devil Summoner : Raizou Kudzunoha vs. The Soulless Army. I'm a sucker for the SMT series !
