let me start by these two gorgeous games..

locoroco is fun fun fun, u might feel stupid while playing it like a 5 years old on an lsd trip but it still is great fun ;)

that's patapon, don't ask me to explain it, it's a weird musical game by japs, very cool though :)

My favorite psp game was god of war.
I also played wipeout but got bored of it.
Disgaea is epic also

some of the best PSP games worth mentioning (IMHO, at least) are

killzone Liberation - very polished game, great gameplay & online is kicka$$.

GTA Vice City Stories - your typical GTA gameplay, large-scale, awesome soundtrack

MGS Portable Ops - if you're a metal gear fan you'll love it, nice gameplay, great story & soundtrack. its best feature is the voice acting, some of the best out of the entire metal gear series. i remember my first play through, every time i'd finish a playing session i'd get one of those "was i just playing on a handheld?" sensations. great stuff.

god of war - another one of those psp games where you're bound to find yourself wondering how you were just playing on a handheld. best graphics on the psp, massive-scale, awesome gameplay, and its got that nice big-budget feel to it.
