True, the virus used is called the bluebug. You can download the software and install it on your phone, it's called bloover.sis however it's mostly harmless now as all new smartphones are patched against this.
I remember back in 2002, I used have it and use it again old 7650 phones, and I confirm.. I could make calls via bluetooth from attacked phones without them knowing, it was fun =D
Anyway, there are no new known bugs to BT other than bluebug and the hijacker that basically steals your contact list and message inbox, and most new phones are also patched against this one.
