Default ADSL Problems In Here - 24th May 2009

Is anyone facing connection problems whenever the phone rings? It can not be noticed if you are not using an application sensitive to time delay like voice or online gaming. While I am playing online, every time the phone rings or probably whenever someone dials out, the game stops working for a minute and then it resumes normally. Is anyone facing the same problem? I want to know if this problem is related to a particular Ogero exchange or ISP or modem.

Yeah, I used to have that problem but not when the phone rang, whenever someone picked up the phone to dial, my internet connection would drop & after a minute or so re-establish itself automatically.. splitters were just fine (but double-check if yours are connected properly and if all phones have splitters on them)... the problem disappeared by itself...

Icon9 I also have a problem! - 28th May 2009

I am having a problem with my phone since I started using Ogero ADSL at home.

When the power is lost (I mean the main power that supplies my home with electricity) the phone stops ringing (more accurately the phone line stops working)! Anybody calls my home at that time he will think that my phone is busy!

The solution for that (actually I do not know if I can call it a solution) was to raise that phone handset for 1 sec then return it to its place, so then anybody calls me after that I can here the ringing and the phone is no more busy. Note that I should do that every time the electricity is lost!

Another solution (this is obviosly can not be called a solution) is to wait tell the electric power is avialable again (2-4 hours)!

I called Ogero, they did not have any solution (they said it is not their problem!!!).

If anybody encountered this problem before or knows its solution, please do not be lazy and post a reply!

I emailed Cyberia's customer support, they suggested checking if all the handsets connected has compatible filters. I will test each handset by itself when I go back home this weekend.

About your problem vampire, It is probably one of your handsets.

Cyberia's support were right, the problem was one of the handsets. It is an old one without an external power supply. Now I can play online peacefully
