But how does a proper non-monkey dance look like?

Besides if you like rock music, you are welcomed to post your favourite ones, best which remind you of a good concert or rock festival.
You know Salome real dancing is dancing taught at schools taking years of experience to get called pro. Could be salsa, break, street dancin... whatsoever.

At Monot, Kaslik, or Gemmeyze, you'd find people just shaking to the beat, a loud beat vibrating all over the night club, some alcohol, nd you got yourself movin your hips hands feet aimlessly, well i can't see myself doin that, whats the point? if i ever needed to move my body, i could easily do some sports.

I don't get what do those folks at the night clubs enjoy.

Well rock music, nd i mean real authentic rock, and not loud coolboy metal black rock; with the correct lyrics and the right atmosphere could make a life language by itself.

Here is some of what i'd saturate to.
YouTube - Bon Jovi - Dry County (Live From London '95)
listen to the guitar solo

YouTube - Queen - Under Pressure (Live At Wembley Stadium 1986)
check out the master.

I love dancing and for me, it get my stress out from my brain and make me meet the new people in clubs. I dont think it is stupid at all, I think it is a form of art and a sport in the same time. I use to dance ballet when I was younger and I hated it at the time because there was too many rules to follow and dancing should be a free style thing. Anyway, for party songs, I would suggest anything from Yves Larock to tiesto. But also, old songs from the 90s and 80s like I like to move it move it or something from Ace of base or even madona.

But one other type of music I suggest is indie music and a song called brand new colony by the postal code.

i dnt need to party hard, i'm ok, i get the girls i want, i have the fun i want without movin around jumpin to show people that yea am in the mood am the cool guy, not me thx.

besides the fact i'd be spendin my money big time on somethin that isnt getting me the pleasure.

You know i've been like that since always, i'm the sort of take it or leave it, well many women have decided to 'take' despite the dancing constraints.

...and these songs i put the links of, maybe not the second, but the first, this is more of a prayer, throw off all the dance electronic pop rock digital downloads you listen to and take a look at the real deal.

but hey, its about taste everyone has his own taste, everyone has there own dancin character, or not.

Dont know if others share this idea about partying, I surely not.

You remind me of my teenager years when I was rather one sided in music, but every year discovering the newest "real deal" until I realized there is no THE "real deal" just many good "real deals".

A real good music doesnt know genre constraints.

Some other favourites:

Would love to see a Rasmus concert live!!!

No i haven't. Not that i'd like to. I'm not a fan of concerts where people jump and shout :). I prefer to listen to what i like peacefully regardless of whether the song in itself could be considered peaceful or not, that doesn't matter. What matters is that i don't sit/stand there aspiring for some mortal to hit the stage for me to shout . I'm not a crazy fan of anyone.

Ok tell about the rest too:D
You've got some of them in the videos up there ;) lol.

hmm after what kind of party exactly?

I think you shall listen less to such music, you know music can be very influential, and sometimes it draws you toward a bad company:p
Any party Salome, it's always good to feel your own spirit, don't you reckon? I am in the company of myself, it can't get any more divine :D.

I share freemind those views. I don't understand how it's "fun" to not be good at something yet do it . In other words, if you don't have the talent/skills, remain human. Dance is an "art", when it stops being an art, it's no longer called "dance", but rather habal. A friend of mine can't move at all without being drunk, so he always chooses to make a fool of himself without knowing what he's doing. But of course you gotta enjoy the laught :D.

This is called "dancing". Ignore the "but leave your husband at home" and watch :D.
