Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

It's the CGI debut of the turtles. It's built around the new turtles show, so no news-reporter April here. Shredder and other familiar turtles coins of old are missing, so it really makes you yearn for a sequel, which I'm pretty sure it will get. As for this movie proper, it's got a solid story, good I might add: good in the sense that it's not a "hey I want to dominatez the worldzorz" kind of story (a bit of a twist on that formula). The CGI is really good with plenty of details, and the action scenes are all over and flow pretty nicely. I recommend it to turtles and cgi fans. I'm not sure if others might enjoy it.

Its been long since I watched a movie, yesterday I watched Alexandar the Great (the old movie).

Of course the production is poor since its a very old movie, but the story is good to learn more about Alexandar's Greek history, the new movie (Alexandar) focuses on his Asian conquest, while around 70 % of the old movie is about Alexandar in Greece, so you should watch both for historical purposes

I expected better, not that it was all bad. The movie's message is good and the fight scenes were great, if somewhat repetitive, and the special effects were stunning. But The romance was absolutely pitiful...
