"Hunger"

Based on a true story, of IRA prisoners in the 80's, they try several ways/strikes to gain their political status, but they fail...until one of them starts a hunger strike!

The movie is a bit "slow", and there's a bit of dialogue, but the scenes are amazing.

8.5/10

"Duplicity"

Kind of smart, witty...and fun!

7.5/10

But as long as your wasted time is wasted, why would you care?

Staidly now, I do not think it was a waste of time. The Coen brothers have a distinctive/exceptional sense of humor to put on the big screen, such as "The Big Lebowski"...and even "The Ladykillers" [which of course, wasn't as good as the classical version]. And of course you have "O Brother, Where Art Thou?".

I am not saying "Burn after reading" is a great movie, but certainly it's not a waste of time. It's kind of a dark comedy, which is worth watching.

Am a fan of dark comedies, "normal" comedy movies just get on my nerves! But to comapre this one to The ladykillers would be an aberration! The movie is barely 90 minutes long, and for the first 40 minutes practically nothing happens! it barely gets interesting the last 10 or 15 minutes, but not enough to cover up the rest of the movie. I found it horrendesly slow, empty, and NOT funny! I guess to each his own
So i stand my ground hehe
