I'd say I'm quite hard to please when it comes to music... Music is a big part of my life..

let's see, I'm into Rock music, I like music that has melody. My favorite type is melodic Hard Rock/Heavy metal, a la Iron Maiden, Manowar, Metallica, Black Sabbath/Ozzy...
Not a huge fan of punk Rock, but you'll find me experimenting with it. Mostly, if it's something easy to play, I'll work on convincing myself it's good.
I like acoustic guitar, Nirvana's unplugged, some oasis. Lately I've been listening to some underground Rock and Metal.. lots of new stuf, more importantly, lots of good stuff that doesn't make to the radio waves or the billboards.

What else, I like 80s for sure, too many musical prodigies in the 80s for anyone not to like these years. I like to have some ambiance music, chill out/lounge, and some softies that can set the mood (Sinatra, Barry White, .. you know, that kinda stuff is irreplaceable.. well, to me it is)

I love Fairuz, Ziad's music more than his songs. I like old Lebanese music, sadly it's been years I haven't listened, so I forgot the names of the singers :(

what else, I'm not big on trance & techno, but some of my friends are, so every once in a while you'll see me listening to some friend's music.. helps me appreciate my kind of music more, hehe

Rap, Hip Hop, and R&B.. not much of a fan, but I'll be moving my feet to the beat of good songs.

When it comes to foreign music , my favorite type is Rock (soft rock, progressive rock , alternative rock , heavy metal). My favorite band is dream theater.I like also Iron Maiden,Manowar,Symphony X,Steelheart,Metallica,Creed...and many other bands

About the 80s music , i like Frank Senatra and Pink Floyd

I love 3abed al 7alim, Majida al Roumeh, Mel7em Baraket, 2oum Keltoum , Zakeh Nassif and Wadi3 al Safeh as singers who sing in arabic.

About techno,trance,rap....i don't listen to such type of music except when i go out to the club

I like all kinds of music!!! Except Opera. I cannot take Opera in for a long time. Music depending on the mood. I like70s Music, I love the BeeGees, Beatles, Dalida, French Oldies, etc. I also listen to The Beach Boys, UB40, D.J. Keoki, HipHop, Rap, Raggae, House, & Trance with my Bibi. I love Rock n' Roll, Hard Rock, Punk Rock(I love Green Day--They are from the Bay Area where I live).
I like Sinatra, Dino, Nat Cole king, Elvis, Cher...
Coming from Africa, I like Dr. Alban, and Calypso Music.
Recently I have been listenning to Michael Buble, Josh Groban, and Simon Cowell's new group "IL Divo."
My daughter loves listenning to French Oldies and Broadway music.
I love Arabic Music, but I don't like Khaliji Music. I'd rather stick to the Lebanese, Egyptian, and a few Syrian singers.
See! I told you I like almost everything. I even like Gospel Music depending on the worship mood!

Well Arabic wise,

Songs: I love Sit il kil "Um Kalthoum", "Kathim Al Saher"
Music: Anything Arabic composed of Aoud or Qanoon

Specific Lebanese, I like Fayrooz (in the mornings only, helps sooth me, as I am a bad morning person), and old Lebanese songs.

Western, I have no certian preferal in songs, I like specific songs but not a specific style as for Music, I adore Opera, Gospil I love Emma Shapplin, Laureena Mckinnet, and ERA.

I also listen to classicals like Mozart, Beethoven, and Chopin.

I love the Beatles a lot too
