What more elaboration does one need than Bo Derek emulating a sensual act to the sound of this monotonous yet beautiful and haunting tone?

This elaboration that you just mentioned in your post would have been good enough to avoid one word posts that do not convey much... I need something that'll compell me to go search for the musical piece and listen to it.

Music is not to know about but to listen to. A more adventurous soul would have been tempted to go get this beautiful piece and listen to. If you liked it then you'd gain more from the experience and if you didnt you get to wonder about someone's good taste. But punishing someone by deleting their posts simply because they are mysterious is too much power in the hands of moderators who like the Ninth symphony. The Ninth Symphony and cruelty dont go hand in hand.

Oh i am great fan of classical music and was a piano teacher for many years so basicly each and every musical partition has a special meaning for me and talk to me in a certain way !
when i use to play a partition for Bethoven i use to close my eyes to be able to see with my heart and feel what he felt to be able to "paint" the images with his notes !
Mozart , with his moody "desinvolte" caractere has his own way to get to you
Rakhmaninof grandiose
Johan Strauss elegant .
Vivaldi like a butterfly ! oh dont ask me why this is what i feel !!!! :)
well i can go on for houres like this each and every composer has his own caracter and greatness .
beside it all depend on my mood , classical music always talk to you , close your eyes and listen every time you listen to the same music is never the same the music is the same yes but the images in your mind change the meaning take another shape in you imagination and makes you fly in a diffrent world and this depends on your mood of the instant ... this is the magic of classical music , thats why classicalmusic is eternal and thats why for me each and every composition is special in its own way !

Well one of my favorites is Rimsky-Korsakov's Schehrazade. An amazing piece of art.

No one mentioned Beethoven's 14th Sonata, Moonlight, ana amazing piano work.

There are LOTS AND LOTS to mention, those are what came to my mind now.

If we're considering classical music pieces, well i will say: On the beautiful blue Danube - Strauss it's a really great waltz

Else than classical, i really like Octavarium - Dream Theater.. it's a great piece too... a mix of everything

interesting...
bt wht gives Octavarium its ingenuity and complexity is not solely its music bt the lyrical and the epic content , thus it cannot be classified as one of the greatest music pieces..
p.s if ur into progressive epics u should check X-Japan's "art of life"
