if u've seen M*A*S*H (the movie) there is a scene where cap.hawkeye pierce was trying to reach a camp...there was a sign pointing to lebanon...if u watch M*A*S*H u'll know what i mean(mash = mobile army surgical hospital as they perform surgery during the Korean war...)
another one in welcome to collinwood...at the end of the movie there is a sign saying welcome to the collinwood of beirut...collinwood (in the movie) is one of the worst(shitty) poor region in the U.S.

Just wanted to add this, yesterday i was watching M*A*S*H...
There is this TV series M*A*S*H...an old classical series... however... there is this corporal klinger who is (considered) a Lebanese in the series...he usually dresses up like women pretending he is nuts so he can go to section 8 then get his ticket back home...however this time in season 6, episode: "the last laugh" he was wearing like an Arab, pretending he has camel (of course invisible) so people will think he is nut, after he enters into the colonel's office they had a little chat and after klinger leaves.. Corporal Radar said to the colonel: sure there is no camel but there's the smell ...the col. replied: Lebanese aftershave
Oh by the way, the camel’s name is habibi.

yea this klinger "jarrasneh" I know an american over the internet and he always remind me of klinger , I hope they dont think all the lebanese are like that!!klinger is funny but I think he have some gay agenda behind his character!!
