First of all, and even though in our modern days , Ad Hominem do refer to an argument , however, let alone how the word has evolved to reach it's certain meaning , and if you translate it literally from latin, it becomes "contre l'Homme" , which justifies it's useage to describe a person such as yourself ! Anyway, don't go too far with your self-proclaimed "exposing hypocrites" slogan, because your childish attitude shows clearly who's trying to "impress others" ... an inferiority complex maybe ?


As i said to Confirm Password, who seemed to grasp my idea, i am not against the freedom of opinion, but as the French say " C'est l'exeption qui fait la règle". My child, i may understand your angst, and concern about the holy concept of Freedom, believe me i've passed through this when i was 14 - 15 years old ! What i said, is that and despite me having a little lean towards absolute freedom, allowing the DAvinci Code in Lebanon in these times would do more harm than good.

1. Our society is "fragile"? Do you know why many people want to ban it? It's not because society is supposedly fragile, it is because certain religion-based "parties" (and I won't name them) want to do it because other religion-based "parties" have banned books that are supposedly offensive to their religion. So it's a contest for them. Also, I never said you're a hypocrite for the justification you gave, I said your position on this is hypocritical since you are a FREE Patriotic Movement supporter (or are you from one of those religion-based parties? That would explain it if you are) and for a FPM supporter to be pro-banning a book simply because some people (who aren't going to read it anyway) want to prevent others from reading it because it "might" be offensive to them, is quite contradictory....

2. I never assumed you were religious or that you were Christian, Muslim, Druze, or anything else. You are mixing my posts with someone else's.

Btw, "contre l'homme" translates to "against THE man", and it does not refer to an individual, it refers to an attack. i.e. an attack against the man one is debating with.

The da vinci code is all propaganda it's a discrace to chrisitanity.the guy who wrote it should be put in jail.he just wrote it as a drama book he made up things.i watched a rpogram about it and it is all false they inspected every last bit of the book.the guy made up a secret society called the priory of sion to say they have hidden the holy grale for thousands of years.there was 2 maries with a little girl who ariived on the coast of france.the girl sarah was an egyptian slave they brought with them.it is all false.They said that leonardo da vinci when he painted the last supper in the church the person next to jesus was a woman and they said that jesus had a homosexual realtion with john.this is disgusting whoever made this up should be punished.In the bible it has always said that jhon always had feminie featers and was really beautiful.And they said a priest of france in the old days wrote sang real which means holly blood but it was mistake what he meant to write was san greale which means holy grail.It is all false.

This society EXISTED and authentic documents exist in the Bibiliotheque national in Paris.. Go look at them when you are in the city ANd his historical proof ends here. The holy graal part is fictional i.e. a part of the novel part not the historical proofs... He specifically stated in the preface of the book that the organisations exists but the rest is his fictional work..
