Judging by the quality of the following 'music', this probably doesn't fit in the music section..
I'll start with sports figures..
Why is it so easy for sports stars to transfer into the music industry, following are clips of Tony Parker, Ron Artest, & Shaquille O'neal. All of whom have lackluster music skills and should stick to playing sports.
I'll start it off with Tony Parker's new single (I'm hoping it's just a single), Balances Toi.. His girlfriend, Eva Langoria, is in the video.. Also, I think I saw Kevin Federline in there too.. what's up with that..

We've also got the very sane Ron Artest who released a full album, and even went touring, at one point he wanted to quit basketball and fully concentrate on his music (Stick to basketball RonRon).
Here's a video of his song, Fever by Ron Artest

Also, we have Shaq, who's also starred in critically acclaimed movie Kazam..

How do you feel about sports figures having an easy access to the music world?
I think this speaks volumes about the state of Rap & hip hop music, and the hip hop culture in general. It's enough to be a celebrity, a bad boy, or dating a hot lady to get a free pass to that music genre. |
