He is also the composer of Malena's soundtrack, which is also great, but its nothing compared to the soundtrack of "Once upon a time in the west".

I remember one of my favourite cartoon as a kid was the Les Mondes Engloutis. I was just enchanted by the story but I liked very much its music too.
