i listen to : goth metal , progressive metal ,folk metal , doom metal and some heavy metal , nu metal from time to time but its not my fav genre.

Haggard are okay. I like the variety in their music and their usage of instruments like harps, clarinettes, cellos, violins, violas and such. On the other hand, the growls sound utterly ridiculous and unfitting. The death metal vocalist ruins the good musical compositions.

Try listening to Therion and Hollenthon instead, they manage to mix death metal with neo-classical/orchestral music without managing to sound stupid.

I must agree with some of u folks...that savatage is indeed a gr8 band, about timo tolkki also a very good guitarist..but the greatest is Ritchie Blackmore...two of the greatest bands ever Deep Purple (mk II) and Rainbow ...also some other gr8 bands like Rammstein, Stratovarius, The Tea Party, Rhapsody....and about Dream Theatre...never liked that band...except their only 1 song "Home"...

Btw there is a Lebanese band named Kimaera they are into Doom Metal if anyone like this style they have a great sample on their website to download the song is named God Warth and is realy great ( if you like doom eza la2 forget about it )

Theria and Missa Mercuria are good , but they can't equal Nightwish .
Btw their last album Once i don't see it as a progress but as a Masterpiece .
