Of course you can criticize the movie or the books though, I wonder anybody read it?

I don't agree, this movie doesn't need the typical hollywood sex cliche...good vampire movies in general are not vulgar, they rather have a special way to portrey temptation, seduction, romance and the dark side of the soul...however this movie has again a new perspective which I liked a lot, indeed it is a sensitive story...maybe it takes sensitive girls to understand it
ok salome have fun talking with urself from now on

i will do what i want and if u can't reply normally it's not my prob

I didn't say i don't like twilight.
I just criticized the movie for butchering the book. I read Twilight and New Moon. The movie was way out of the storyline for me and from the trailer of New Moon i could see some of the irregularities as well with the new movie.

I do like the story and i'll probably read the other two books when i finish reading Blackwater

was the first novel heavily themed in abstinence like the first movie was ?

i think the caring vampire thing is interesting, actually i like most vampire variation movies, but the main actor in the movie protrayed a very shallow teenage caring solo vampire

was the book character deeper than just looking pretty ?

I think the first movie pretty much followed the book, it was also not that hard since the story doesn't get complicated yet.

I have also doubts about the second movie already how they will follow the books, yes the trailer indicates some re-interpretation of the story which was quite funny, I hope overall they didn't ruin it. But the 4th book will be definitely a big challange:D

as for Twilight, the movie discouraged me honestly from reading the books :(

btw i love harry potter 1 the book i can understand what kids liked about it hehe
Agree 100%... same happened when i watched memoirs of a geisha, 3 years after reading the book. many facts are distorted and important details are missing...

honest to god man he waited and waited but in the end he either mini kissed or or almost bit her i dont remember anymore i'm traumatized by waiting so long for some action hehe

but in short, there is zero to almost none kissing/sucking in the movie

just 'attraction' for no really good reason and 'vampires' for no good reason also

they seem to have murdered the novel in the movie i dont know

i'll utube it to remember exactly if he mini kissed her or bit her

oh excuse my memory i can only remember the endless waiting for something cool to happen in the movie, like naked pool parties or a vampire sucking fest, i assure u i dont remember any of them hehe

mr. frisbee here is the kissing scene i found it on utube (thk u god for utube)

i think he was in her bedroom after many tense close encounters and stalkings b4 that

but things didnt get really satifying after all the wait

to be honest i'm still having problems remembering even now as i watch it hehe

(ino technically i'm not sure they did anything hehe)

now, i need to find if there was any blood sucking at the end that i missed up (i doubt it, there might have been some tempting neck licking but no blood sucking action my poor mind remembers)
