hey steph well i ve read the whole series . i can say it was kind of addictive i read all 4 books around the clock . the content is nice , a bit different than the usual stuff we read. the idea is good.
book 1 is good , book 2 is very boring , book 3 contains the best parts of the whole story and finally book 4 is well very slow-mo style but the end is good .

i heard there is a 5th book called midnight sun but wont be released right now.
its just a telling the event of book 1 but from edward's point of view.

Default Twilight series - 3 Weeks Ago

This thread is dedicated to the book and movie series of Twilight.

I wonder actually if there is any fan around?

Have you read the books, and what do you think so far about the first movie?

Second movie New Moon is coming in less than a month to the cinemas.....finally

I kinda noticed there are no fans here especially those who would have read all 4 books...

This is not the case in real life (or at least in Europe), many of my friends have read the books, seen the movies and loved them...I just thought maybe we could have a discussion about it here too

It's a different perspective of the image usually given to vampires by Hollywood... the first part was ok, not wonderful.. and the not kissing part drove me crazy!!!!!!!!!
Hope the second one will be better...

I haven't read the books or seen the movies. I must say that Meyer series with red paper edges would look great in a red-white-black living room. Are the books as good as they look?

Why to be so jumpy about that kiss?:D It is going through the whole story, so it seems you will have to endure if you plan to watch it further:D

I didn't buy the books with the red edge, I find them too much I bought rather the normal ones...anyway important is what is inside

I haven't discovered this story for long, I heard the big teenage fuss about it so I thought it can be something stupid only...

until one day out of boredom I decided to watch the movie, and I was like wow this is actually really good...so I decided to buy the books and I was like WOW this is even better:D couldn't stop reading till I finished all 4 books!!!!

And then I discovered some of my friends suffer from the same twilight addiction and also read the books with the speed of the light:D

The only embarrasing thing was when I was buying the books, because the book stores make a big fuss about it and put the books in the very middle where there are always few 14 years old teenagers giggling over the books and the posters of Robert Pattinson...so I had to be very quick to grab a book so that nobody notices:D but what is comforting a bit all the people, my friends I know reading them they are also in their 20s and not lil teenagers

The first movie was good so far and followed well the book, I just wonder how they will keep up with the books especially toward the 4th one when the story is getting huge already (I hope it won't get the fate of the HP books/movies)

The actors are quite good, there is a big fuss about Edward played by Robert Pattinson who supposed to be someone very handsome...well he is not that handsome...and the girl, Bella she plays such an innocent girl in the story while in real life she is the total opposite a real btch:D

Well the books definitely worth reading them, but then you would surely want to see the movies too:D
