This has been gnawing at my conscience since the night of 5 of June. It's time for confession.
On that night a group of forumers arranged a meeting I was supposed to attend. It so happened that I had been invited to a social function I couldnt extricate myself out of. Yet I had promised everyone to attend the forumers gathering.
Three days prior I went on an excurtiating coaching exercise of a friend of mine to attend the meeting and tell people he was shadow1. After all none of them had met me before so none knew what I looked like. Training a stand -in was no easy feat when you have to instill humour in morbid personalities, make him memorise whom to act friendly towards and whom to ignore completely, whom to show special attention to and what topics to speak about and what to avoid, how far to progress in a conversation and never get into details. Stick to general topics like the weather and people's health.
Well my stand-in performed a fabulous job and by the time the gathering dispersed not one single person suspected anything.
So to all those who claim to have met me, my sincerest apology for this unfortunate turn of events.
So Yes I have only met 2 people from this forum but one no longer writes in here and the other bilked.
