on a side note : THE BIG QUESTION : was Jerry male or female

in one episode we see Jerry as a male in love with the mechanic female mouse that TOM sends.....and in another epsiode we see jerry in female underwears when blown away by TOM......

Did you ever notice this discrepency ?
