That's a very philosophical question. I know that because it was on my Bac. philosophy exam a few years ago . Many definitions by different were given by different thinkers. The one that convinced me most is that Intelligence is the power to "adapt to new situations and solve problems". There was also very strong argumentation about how memory (and forgetfulness) is an extremely important part of intelligence but I'm too lazy to go into that now .
i didn't mean aounists by us , it was in general(and don't be intelligent and think i'm meaning GMA by general).If you notice around you , people flatter those who think like them and call them intelligent,thus reflecting narcissistic admiration.
By the way your answers are so stereotyped, which reminds me that intelligence is to have different alternatives and not to sound like a brainwashed individual
i usually don't link intelligence with how much facts people know
i consider someone as intelligent according to how fast this person can get/understand things! how fast they can adapt to a new situation, to their environment, how fast they can understand how certain things work!
so i guess intelligent people have faster reactions, they(we ) understand the logic of things in a short lap of time! whereas "stupid" or "normal" (or whatever you want to call them) people are slower.
but what r things? math?music?art? is newton not intelligent if he doesnt understand music? or is mozart stupid if he doesnt get/understand mathmatics?is pele intelligent? he gets football? what about shaq he gets basketball?
Drifting off topic is a sign of lack of Intelligence.
