Icon6 what countries have you visited Or Would you visit??? - 17th August 2007

Hello all,

I am a traveller fan though i don't have a huge portfolio in traveling. I live in Lebanon but i have traveled many times in my life, the countries that i have visited are : Italy, France, Cyprus, UAE, Qatar, Croatia, Bosnia&Herzegovina (medugorje), Syria, Jordan and greece. I will tell you my impression about these countries:

-Italy: my favorite country, my favorite language, my favorite girls, my favorite food, my favorite weather and my favorite music.

-Greece:
its coastlines are very similar to Lebanon, the architecture is a bizentine one with white houses all around.

-France: beatiful landscapes.

-UAE: desert and desert and desert, but when you visit Dubai you feel it is the new and the ultimate cosmopolitan city, but too much artificial.

-Qatar: very close to UAE in nature wise but more quite.

-Jordan: very hospital people with beautiful landscapes especially in AKAba beach.

-Croatia and bosnia: beautiful green nature, it reminded me directly with Lebanon, when i passed through Sarajevo destroyed and sad streets, i reminded Beirut in the war. By the way, the yugoslavian people is very close to the lebanese one given the fact that both lived harsh and bloody wars in thei modern history.

-Cyprus: very peaceful country, but the most part i liked was "aya nappa" especially with the topless part

What about you, what are the countries that you have visited (if any) and how do you describe each of them, and if you haven't traveled yet, where do you like to go first and why???

Thank you.

I have been/lived to/in the following:

Lebanon: gotta love everything about it
Australia: the very best country in the world
Netherlands: I loved the concept of freedom there
Canada: it is too cold, even its summers are chilly!
USA: it has got everything you need, yet too populated for me
Egypt: it was very pleasant... I enjoyed the hospitality
Syria: very dull
Jordan: I enjoyed some sites
Cyprus: I enjoyed the beaches
UAE: an amazing place, yet it gets boring after a few days
Qatar: similar to UAE though a little dull
Malaysia: a lively place
Thailand: very crowded
Singapore: even more crowded

Countries I plan to visit:

A European tour
Hawaii
Japan
China
New Zealand
South America
and Antarctica!
