ana it's all about the people you know, my hairdresser happened to be someone famous in the field, so the photographer, the zaffe, the dj, and the place i got my wedding dress made me some good discount, in addition to the hotel where i heald my wedding.
about the flowers ,i had what is known to be as riviere d'orchidee which is known to be a very costly flower in addition to roses from someone also famous in that field for an excellent price, because my husband used to have deals with that special florist.
i'll prepare a list of the people my husband and i worked with and send it to you... all the people who went to my wedding said it was like a dream or something royal... you can always get the best from the people you work with to having a wedding in a 5 starts hotel if you know the people who can really help you...
my marriage was last June in Grandhills, i had 500 guests (was expecting more, but fate7 el islam didnt really help), and i remember it as the most beautiful day in my life! the hotel was great, from the start , degustation to the wedding to after the wedding, they usually offer one night, we requested 2, because our trip was 2 days later and they accepted right away!
my tip tp you, work with pro people, because the list thing you need are silly mistakes, and add to your cost always the price of the bride's/groom's dress, honeymoon... and work with ppl who worked before with each other... my photographer used to work in weddings with the dj we chose, so the combination was great... choose a dj who also have light and fireworks, this will ease things and costs, since you'll get a general discount.
i noticed that you counted the flowers and Church: just a reminder, tradition says that the best man pays for them, at least ours insisted on offering these costs.
ps: the 3 couples who married right after us, 2 of them used the same photographer, the 3 the same hairdresser and make up, 2 of them the same florist... our zaffe was great, but it's considered a bit costly because it's the true bekaai zaffe and they use extra stuff, and they do their own songs, not quote lyrics and stuff... and a couple went to our dj, who really plaid an excellent music in the wedding!
believe in 2 months you'll be familiar with all the prices of everything related to weddings...
when i'm in a wedding, i can tell the prices of the meals to the flowers to the zafffe, so much i became familiar with these stuff! |
