I had my wedding last September and it was really costly...Thank God i finished from the wedding's money worries. My advice is search alot inorder to get the best deal, do not rush into buying just for a certain brand or designer.Look for the pretty stuff with good prices, since they take lots of money for certain brands although they may have the same quality as those of cheaper ones.I personally did not tell the make-up artist to do me the make-up for my wedding, i just said its my friend's wedding and i want an outstanding makeup, coz they multiply the price by ten when you say for your wedding, knowing that they use the same products whether for a soiree or a wedding...
As for the dress ,i rented the dress rather than buying it since there is no point of keeping it in my closet to get dusty with time.If you want to buy or rent a dress, try on a readily made one,do not chose on picture, because they might be not perfect for you when they are finished but still you get stuck in buying them.
As for the flowers, you have to pay at least 8oo dollars not less .As for the salle ,if you want to serve food, then youll have to speak at least in about 5ooo dollars...
Good luck for you and mabrouk salaf ....... | | | | | Registered Member

Mabrouk Ana... You have so many choices in these wedding matters... You can start by serving some sweets after the ceremony, passing by having a small cocktail or a large one, ending with a "sitting buffet" or a Gala dinner...or an usual Dinner... It's up to you to decide... with your fiancée AKID... and following your budget...
For my experience, Ha ha ha... I may not help too much.. It's MY NINETH year in COUPLE LIFE... It might be too OLD FASHIONED...
Mabrouk once more... and DECIDE ALONE but don't do it too fast because it's an exceptional day that you will forever remember... So, make it SPECIAL... SO SPECIAL... | | | | | Registered Member

Good luck for you and mabrouk salaf ....... | Just for the record.... yet again.... Ana=me... not Anna :)) that is, I'm a male...
We discussed the wedding dress and since i live in the US I was thinking of picking up a dress from here.... you can find a designer dress anywhere from $500 to i don't know... vs renting from Leb for $1,000 at least... Not sure why would someone pay $800 on flowers.... maybe i'm just ignorant, but that's a large amount of money just on flowers....
I know some of you now think of me as a cheap *******... but seriously... can someone just contribute to my Wedding To Do List?
Flowers is something I definitely didn't think about.... | | | | | Registered Member
