I can't state an approximative cost for a wedding, but i can definitely say that, whatever the numbers were, the wedding will cost much more than cohabitation, with the similar accommodations.

hehe... i'm seriously considering it.... or maybe cutting down considerably on the number of invitees. I just don't get why would someone spend $10K to $20K (and sometimes more) for few hours on people you might not really care for??

btw, we won't have time for a honeymoon, we travel back to the US few days after the wedding as university here starts late and her university ends late, so we're also tight on time... we'll postpone the honeymoon few months.

trust me, you would spend 50 k on a wedding and ppl at the end will talk cr*p about it, ohhhhh did u see the fooooood ? the music was horrible, did u see how fat she looked in the dress ?

trust me, bala waja3 ras, do something small and for the family (close relatives) and spend the money on a honeymoon (maldives or tahiti ;) )

my sister got married last summer in casino du Liban and nearly the same nb of invited people, and I took care about so many things myself. and she left straight after the wedding to the US like u are going to do.
If you are serious, i can give you by PM the list of sound and lighting, photo and video, flowes, wedding card, hostess.... they were really professional and the price was very fair.

exactly my thoughts... however, my family is HUGE.... if i invite one close cousin, a not so close cousin baddo yiz3al wil 7abil 3al jarrar...

I did a small count of my first uncles and first cousins and close friends.... the number was 116! Her family was around 70... there is around 20+ people pending plus my family and her family's friends and those should be around 100.. 120...

do the math... that's around 300 - 320... and i'm sure i might have missed some people!
