The temple of Jupiter in Baalbeck was the biggest Roman temple in the world + The temple of Baccus is the MOST intact roman temple in the world now.
The whole complex (Jupiter+Baccus+Venus) was built on what was considered an oracle's place. It was a major pilgrimage site from all over the empire, and holds alot of mysteries about giants and dwarves.
So in other words, Baalbeck holds all factors to be in the 7 wonders:
Its old age
Its gigantic sizes
Its completeness
Its historical importance
The mystery that surrounds it

Neo-classical architectural designs in Europe have been directly inspired by Baalbeck, and Baalbeck's architecture has been applied all over Europe (especially its type of columns), so add to the list national + international cultural impact.
The main problem in that poll is that there's no basis of comparison, an F1 car will have far more complexities and "wonderful" things than a plain pyramid. That is why, we need to compare apples to apples.
Note: when I talk about Baalbeck, it's not just about the 6 columns, but rather about the whole complexe of the 3 temples and surroundings.
