Your chivalry will fasttrack you to martyrdom and what next? She probably will feel bad for a week , or two if you are lucky. She might weep at your funeral and put on an almost believable show of greif. Then she might meet someone new and channel her love towards him . You end up turning in your grave while she is tripping the light fantastic with some cigar smoking hunk on Monot. Is that what you really want? Is that what your parents spend their hard earned money to send you to school so you can end up a mushy weasel in some forgotten grave?

Think again dude and try to get over these maudlin indulgences. It's better for you. Look How stupid Romeo and Juliette were looked at eventually. And you are not even close to that. You die, she lives on and time heals all wounds.
What if her feelings are mutual? what if she loves him the way he does? What if she is ready to die for him too? u never know...
I don't think it's wrong for someone to love this way, i don't know maybe i am living in a fairy tale world...but if a guy wrote this for me i would sooooooo fall in love with him
I just hope, who ever she is, that she knows that u feel this way about her ya BOILER...

They had better be. Unrequited love is such a bore as they say.

He should make sure she does before he dies for her. Could you imagine how silly it would be if he dies for someone who didnt care to attend the funeral?

Do they have to die liek Romeo and Juliette? Why cant they just be like Snowwhite and her charming prince living happily everafter? I reckon if they both are hell bent in dying for each other why have a relationship at all?

Nor will I ever pretend to.

Absolutely not. Being in love creates a new world where thing seems better and even more excting thantheyt should be.

There is nothing wrong with that. Look at Cinderella and Snowwhite, they both married princes and lived happily ever after.

What if he happened to plagiarise it from the internet would that affect your emotions at all?

I fully agree with you here. If she knows she would at least understand why he looks starry eyed.

Shadow, you seem bitter for some reason
Bass in a way you're right, specially about this point:

Bass take it easy, doesn't have to be this extreme, you can always find a middle ground to rest on.

Every person can feel this way but not every person knows how to express it in a poem and i am one of them...so if i am feeling this way about a guy and i happened to find this poem on the internet and it expressed exactly what i am feeling then i would not be ashamed to send it to my bf eventhough i didn't write it.
So if he found it on the internet and sent it to me as a way to express his feelings, no it won't affect my feelings. But if he lied and told me that he wrote it and later on i found out that he plagiarised it from the internet, i would get mad but i would still love him no matter what

This piece is not mine.
But the reason I post here, it's because I'm adressing a member on the forum.

If a guy really cared about me and loved me so badly, then I would prefer that he told me that in his own words instead of posting a poem on a a forum....

What's romantic about that?
