Dear LFPM Members,
Lately I have been checking forums more than tow forums actually and I was interested in the political sections of those forums, and since I am neutral and on no one's side I was viewing and watching the road that most of the debates are heading, which is insults, anger, humiliation mostly because you guys have different point of views.
So I was wondering the other day what really drives people to fight just because they have different point of views? Why do most Lebanese people while debating in politics really get anxious and nervous and start showing off their anger and aggression? Is it because of the different other? What would have happened if you all are the same, life would have been the most boring thing "god" has ever created! Why do we need to fight on our differences? It is not necessary to fight, we can sit and talk and tolerate each other and bare each other's differences.
What drives Lebanese people to hate each other (and please do not tell me you guys do not hate each other and have this super natural anger towards one another because it is visible in your posts) are several reasons which are well known, for example The Lebanese Political Leaders who really are not giving a chance for the citizens to get along. If we take a look as a third person in what is happening today in Lebanon we realize that the citizens have nothing to do with what is happening, but the leaders are involving us in this play.
I believe that everyone of you and I mean every one who belongs to a part or movement has to feel guilty of what is going on today in Lebanon, for a simple reason which is you are capable of dumping all the leaders and generating new blood of politicians who are not related to any of those old parties and movements which has corrupted the Lebanese country over the past forty or fifty years. None of the existing parties/movements have the right anymore to stay ruling us and playing games on us because they have been for the past fifty years and the time has came to stop.
Again, going back to the reason for you people fighting. I want to ask you to look at your selves while typing on that keyboard, just think and don't let your fingers type before your brain does. Don't you feel ashamed to hate your fellow citizen? Don't you feel ashamed to dislike your fellow brother/sister just because they are from different political party? Don't you feel that you are very simple for acting the way you are acting? I mean people die everyday in Africa from hunger, and we are fighting over a (+) one chair for this party and (-) one chair for this other party, don't you feel very simple?
In the end you have the right to decide if what you are doing is right or not, and you have the right to take a decision to change if you think what you are doing is false. I am not hoping much of replies on this thread but at least I get to say what has been bothering me much around the political sections in the forums.
