the feeling of love differs in aim and meaning between people, and from one person to another, hence the mother love example you have already provided is not irrelevant to the question you had tended to present.

The mother love or parents love is an unconditional case, for example the mother would love her kids whether they are good creatures or bad ones.their love and care come naturely & iternally with the born of the offspring, as they were the creators, they see their continuity within their kid's life...therefore, they can love their kids equally.

can you love two women or two men simultaneously?i consider this kind of love as " love for an Aim "...

You can love 10 women simultaneously, as long as your mind accepts that logic.

In other sense, a man can feel, does, accept anything his/her mind accept it and find it righteous & on conditions that your aims are not well satisfied...
IMHO, there is no special bottom for anything related to logic, since i believe that Logic differs also between people.
However I beleive that a man who can love two women "equally" at the same time -and vice versa- lack something in one person that he seek it in another one....But at the end, you have to Choose one out of the Two to continue with,or sometimes you leave the two, looking for a person who contains all your needs...

there is a long list of example for "a Love for an aim" I cannot go thru in ONE post; otherwise i will lost u there :P


But for example, you cannot love stella and Abir at the same time because they both contain high qualities of any man's need...

I agree MeG. That may be an explanation for someone that accepts he/she can love two ppl. Its what i bene trying to say.

Its a matter of perspective or your own logic. Most ppl in modern western society believe in one person/ one love. Reasoning of another person might provide a different conclusion....

As for your example... it would be very difficult i agree, but not impossible, as they, including hadartik all contain high qualities. So lets make it 3.

Thank you Meg, these are golden words, may all men consider this!

haha Meg you are so right imagine am alone I am too complicated for a guy, so me and Abir at a time really double trouble
(as for those high qualities, men dont tend to notice/appreciate such things)

As for not being able to love both stella and Abir at the same time, it is due to many factors:

2- Both nag with the same intensity! (:P Stella)
3- Both complicate their lives beyond belief!
4- Both can bicker Hell loose :D
and last but not least:
5- Both adore the same person (right Stella? :P:D)

So basically, my advice would be, steer clear of both! :D

I see valid points in every post in this thread, and I cannot decide out of personal experience whether this is possible or not...

However, I can safely state that one certainly can love someone while at the same time feel infatuated with someone else, and even develop a crush on that someone! (It all goes back to one's definition of love).
