I never believed these stories happened until it happened to me today.

I arrived at an ATM machine in town, and while inserting the credit card I found out that there are a 100$ left over in the cash slot.

what would you do in a similar case? would you take the money ? report the money to the bank or leave them for the next ATMer to come and pick the lucky 100$ ?

First Never use a credit card to withdraw cash from an ATM machine...

For ur case the best solution is to report it to the bank, because if the client came back asking for the money they can tell from the camera and from the transaction he did.

By the way , are u still waiting next to the ATM,lol....What did u do??

The cam and the bank can tell that the client wanted to withdraw money... And they can also tell that Chiefo (In this case

) took the money

Yet it's not Chiefo's fault that the other client is an idiot!

However, in my situation, I would definitly report the money to the bank...

and how can they know that the guy didn't take the money in first place ?? the camera is a facial camera and not a camera in the money slot !!!
so they can say that the one who used the ATM machine just after the client who forgot his money is the one who took the money even if he let it and it's the third or fourth one who took the money

personally i'll take the money and tell the bank that if their is someone who come asking for the 100$ he forgot to take they can contact me and i'll give it to him
like this if he never show up i'll keep the money (better me then the bank)

how can someone forget to take 100$ from the ATM?

and let's say he didn't pay attention enough to realize there was still a 100$... ya3ne lama byef2eda, he won't think about the possibility of him leaving it their... he would probably think he lost it somewhere...
so bottom line, he will never go back to the bank to claim it

and if i give it to the bank, knowing that the guy will not come back.... then this would mean that the bank ra7 y7otta bjaybto!
in that case better my jaybe than the banks!!

I wouldn't bother reporting it, and if it felt so weird I'll just leave it. But if I decide to take it I wouldn't hesitate because they won't go through security cameras and . . . and what if i wasn't their client, i don't think they'll go through that.
