Meme le match du TOGO n'etait pas une excellence but guyz, we make it... We are in the second Round!
J'ai fait confiance à ce potentiel, j'attends que l'on me le montre ce potentiel! Votre chance est contre la prestigieuse équipe d'ESPAGNE! Show us what you are capable of because i am tending to think that your average of 30 years old is not a good point!

Because french people stink/smell (and I have learned accross the years that this is very true)

Because they have very bad personality (mauvais charactere), and are very arrogant.

Because they don't know how to play (except for Zinedine Zidane, who's name doesn't ring a french bell for me)

Because I hate the accent of french people talking french (no problem with people speaking french with lebanese accent).

Because we (my friends and I) need a population to make fun of (homsis isn't enough)...

Because they are overly concerned with education and work (even the 3 years old kids games have to be educational to be fun).

Because because because....

Sure, not all french are like that, so far I've known many great french people (who just happen, coincidentally, to be of lebanese descendancy ) but nevertheless I'm not trying to stereotype, just giving a general opinion and experience with french people.

Overall, I don't hate them at all, on the contrary I applaud the french education over any other, and their way of thinking and philosophies, I believe they are also the top country to care about humanitarianism and of course they are the defenders of human rights. So I'll mostly stress on one fact: I just needed a nationality to joke on (And it just happens that most my teachers were french)... so, tough luck :)

As for the British, I've been to London and I say they are they are very polite, hospitable and friendly, and their personality is great. They just get ticked off by football I guess

Finally, as for:

Quote:
I don’t understand why many Lebanese support Germany, who has a history of colonial violence far more extreme then that of the French. Let’s not forget Hitler and the Third Reich…
Maybe it's because
1) People aren't NOT supporting France because of colonial history (shou khass??? it's football).

2) Maybe because Germany is one of the best football teams in the world, which is far from what I consider France's team to be.

Personally I'm with Germany because I've been with Germany since before I ever understood what football is (my 2 cousins were with Germany). So over the years I've been liking Germany more and more I guess. I don't give up on my team, even through hard times I like their ambitions to win the cup. My second favorite team is Brazil for many reasons, but certainly France is unfortunately a little bit more down the list!! And that's simply for football reasons.

lek... gha7 khabghak khabghiyyeh 3an l r bel fghenseweh.

I almost had a ZERO on a poesie in school because I couldn't "rouler les r" while reciting it.

I hate the french accent, it's too snobby, too effeminate, shy, and it's arrogant all by itself.

So what's wrong with the way the lebanese, ya3neh ana, say the r in french ?!?? I have a LEBANESE accent!! And I prefer it a lot more than over imitating the french accent.

the only wc that france took was on it's land and against brazilian and 3-0 ...in my opinion that's the only wc they are gonna see in fact i think they will never get to finals again.i m not saying that because they won over brazil (there are many doubts about this winning) i m just saying that because they are far far away from football they have some stars i dnt deny it but they are nothing compared to other teams.i think they wont stand long in the wc so till then enjoy there play.
as for france the country as long as u ve mention it no one of us dont have relatives there or friends etc... i know people will act against there president if he keeps on being that harririen.
finaly good luck for france

France is doing bad right now.
But in future they will win world cup again.

You just have to take a look at premier league and see that french always do great there..and its main reason for epl being competetive to la liga/serie a.

french teams bring a lot of great players...I am sure France will have a word in future world cup and win it.
French league is just as competetive to brazilian league for big teams to sign youth, great future players.

But in this world cup their coach is very bad and I doubt they do sthg in it.

I don’t see the relation between the French culture or language or humanitarian heritage with playing football….. If the topic of this thread was about French cuisine… maybe I will have a positive opinion… but since we are talking about football, I don’t see anything great with its current players…. They won one lousy world cup (questionable) and with most of their players having foreign nationality as origin, and on their home land… woooowww big accomplishment! They have Jule Rime and Just Fontaine…OK, but still this doesn’t make of them a great football team today…. Anno Lebanon had Fakhreddine and Mir Bechir… do you see Lebanon a powerful nation today…!

France will win another title when Lebanon will have the power of VETO in the Security Council.

Sorry to go off topic, but you didn't get the point!
Rouler les R is to say them like Lebanese people not to say them gh.
Gh is about teldogh...
Lebanese people in France have most of them the same accent, it is funny! Especially that I didn't have this accent but je roule les R and here all of them ask me from which nationality I am, because i pronounce my R very differently but i have the same accent as french... Many time, i was considered russian, italian just because je roule les R...
Even Lebanese people who were 3am bilatelto 3a my french friend, were shocked when I answered them in Lebanese! They told me, you speak perfectly french, just you have a little exotic accent, i didn't except that you were Lebanese!

Polorm, toi tu roules les R! Your teacher was asking you not to do it to be like frensh people

Cheers
