Monday (in 2 days). I believe the 8 teams will be divided into two groups according to FIFA ranking so a team from the "highly" ranked will play against a team from the "lower" ranks.

the first group: France, Portugal, Russia and Greece
the second group: Ukraine, Ireland, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Slovenia

I really wish France to be eliminated. I also hope that Bosnia makes it to the finals.

anyways, the two-legged play-offs will take place on Nov. 14 and 18

That african cup of nations has a lot of problems. Which is the timing..

first of all, many of the african nations are full of players from europe.Ghana being one of them. And alot of those players dont like to leave their teams and go play for their NT side.
Plus, the most important they get no preparation before the start of the tournament.

Egypt national team is mostly made of players from egyptian league. Hence why they are more organized and better in this cup then others.
When it comes down to world cup, and if egypt qualify they wont do anything.Unlike ghana who with preparation can do alot of damage.
They made it to the last 16 last time, eliminating czech republic.

BTW, Ghana's midfield is world class. Between the best in the world . Kwadwo asmaoh of udinese is new great face mark my word. then there is muntari(inter) and essien( chelsea).

So here are the games of the second round.

Ireland- France
Portugal - Bosnia
Greece - Ukraine
Russia - Slovenia

France and Russia should be fairly easy for them to qualify. The other game between Ukraine and Greece will be kinda interesting.
But ... Lol @Portugal, they will even suffer in the second round.

Bosnia is one of the very pleasant surprises. Just look at their offense. Dzeko and Muslimovic. + a lot of other players from decent football clubs like Lyon, Wolfsburg, CSKA Moscow. + I heard their coach makes them kiss each other on the lips to increase intimacy and chemistry between the players. So this team is like serious business. Poor Portuguese, the Bosnians will hit on Cristiano Ronaldo quite well in the match.

First, Christiano Ronaldo is injured, don't know if he will play this game.

Second, Ireland is not a weak team. Just wait and see.

I am betting on Ireland, Bosnia, Ukraine, and Slovenia. Also, Bahrain and Algeria for the other games.

Christiano Ronaldo should be able to play somewhere between 5 November-15 November, so he might at the very least make it for one match.

As for Ireland, well none are weak teams. they came second in their groups and as you know even second place is not quite easy. It's just that I don't think Henry-Anelka-Benzema-Ribery-Gourcuff ( if all are called hopefully) can disappoint. Anyway between the teams mentioned, Ireland may be the weakest.
