All the teams who won the title of their leagues last year especially the Italian, the German, the English and Spanish teams should be heading a group.
Why are they considering CL results to determine the position of a team within a group?
It's not fair.
Sevilla is heading a weak group, with teams suitable for the european cup instead.

The funny thing is Group F.
Barcelona Vs Inter after the famous swap between Ibra and Eto.

they depend on the uefa team ranking found here ( UEFA Team Ranking 2010 )

the problem is that they give same points for a team winning a uefa cup game and team winning cl game..
and bonus points they give isnt much for cl teams over uefa cup teams.

hence why sevilla ( twice uefa cup winners in last 5 years) are that high..
also teams like bremen, hamburg, zenit who done nthg in CL are high as well because of uefa cup.


Italian teams are forced to do very well this year ( UEFA Country Ranking 2010 ) because they just have three points more then german teams. If germany collects more points again then italy this year, then in 2011/2012 italy will start to participate with 3 teams.

Well, it's a pretty hard group for Milan. Maybe Zurich has no chance but Marseille are a great team and have improved last season and it seems this season they will continue that too and maybe take the Ligue 1 title. I hope Milan can do something but I doubt they will be able to win this year. They might reach the semis if they work well but their focus seems on the Italian league. Only if Ronaldinho can go back to his Barcelona era ( some glimpses of that in the first game in Serie A), then there will be other talk.

Now Real Madrid should be the ones who have the biggest chances especially if you take into account the whole new team they brought and the fact that the final will take part on their home ground so they will have even extra motivation, but I am hoping they won't even make it through group stage and Marseilles take it instead just to so they can receive a nice slap on their cheeks.
