But Leagues is ALOT better then union... at least that's what i think :)
No man It's too slow of a game. It's like playing touch in union rugby.

WiseCookie, no mate, League is quicker, in Union you stop alot.... by kicking the ball out of bound, or by getting a penalty and kicking field goals. League is alottttt quicker... it's a none stop attacking, u get 5 chances to play to score a try if you dont, the opponents will get teh ball and it's their turn to attack... players do not rest, and they all have to tackle, whether they are forwards or fullbacks. It is one of the most agressive sports in the world, after NHL and Boxing.

I don't know very well the Lebanese system in Rugby but I know that we have a great team (Lebanese-Australian) in the Rugby 13 which is less popular than the Rugby 15. I was very surprised to see a lebanese team participating to the World championship, in 2000 I think. It was not Lebanon but Cedar's team or something very similar.
But also in Lebanon, some universities have their team and participate to the national league. So I want to know : Are some of these players (from universities team) present in the national team or is it something different?
When will be hold the next world championship (Rugby 13)?
thanks

I think your question applies to Sydney more than it does to me. I'm interested in finding out as much as you.

Ruby 13 is Rugby League, and Rugby 15 is Rugby Union.

We have something called Tri-nations which means the three countries.
The three top countries in world are NewZealand, Uk and of course Australia! we have been the champions for god knows how long.

Tri-nations are held every year, around this time of the year.

I would recommand this article http://www.rleague.com/article.php?id=19309
to learn more about the Great Rugby League history :)

and this one http://world.rleague.com/tournaments/sevens/

as a reply to your question :)
