I hope Washington manage to beat the **** out of that Canadian brat, Syd Crosby el sayye2 el theker. The Capitals are getting more experienced and should be able to handle the pressure of being in the playoffs better now. They're still a young team and there hasn't been major changes in the roster. We've still got Semin, Ovechkin and wonderboy Varlamov.
Hopefully it's going to be an exciting season. First preseason game is tonight at the Buffalo Sabres. I'll be watching. But the real games start in 14 days in against the Boston Bruins.
did you guys hear about the Lebanese kid (Nazem Kadri) that went no.7 to toronto in the past draft? he's not just some 3rd generation Canadian with Lebanese roots - he still talks arabic and has a lot of lebanese in him. when they called his name to the podium at the draft his family were all telling him "habib albeh ya shatour inta"
Capitals having a great season so far: beat Boston Bruins 4 - 1, Toronto Maple Leafs 6 - 4. We're playing in Philadelphia on Tuesday (also 2-0-0) and NY Rangers on Thursday. I'll be at the NY Rangers game I'll post some pics on Friday :)
I'm still waiting for my tickets when Habs come for a beating in DC on Nov 20. Will be going for my second game this season on Nov 1 when the Colorado Blue Jackets will be in town for their beating :-)
