Default NFL season 2006-2007 - Indianapolis Colts, Superbowl XLI winners - 11th September 2006

The NFL season opened this week with the Miami Dolphins taking on the Steelers in Pittsburgh.

Too bad, the Steelers got away with this one.. they defeated the Dolphins 28-17.

The Baltimore Ravens just defeated Tampa Bay 27-0, with Jamal Lewis rushing for 78 yards and Steve McNair passing 181 yards with 1 TD and no interceptions. Baltimore showed a great defense lead by MLB Ray Lewis!

Go Ravens!

Any NFL fans here? Which team do you support? Who do you think will get it this season?

The Ravens are still undefeated! They are now 4-0 !
McNair rallied the unbeaten Ravens for a second straight week Sunday, throwing a 10-yard pass to Todd Heap with 34 seconds left to defeat the San Diego Chargers 16-13.

Ladanian Tomlinson of the Chargers rushed for 98 yards, failing to score 100 yards for the first time this season, while Jamal Lewis had 34 yards.

well they barely escaped defeat in week 3 against the browns... scoring a field goal in the dying seconds of the game to win 15-14 although, IMO they were outplayed by the Browns...

Well, you are right.. but it is good to see some offense, even in the last seconds, from a pure defensive team, Steve McNair is helping the offense of this team!

Hey again!
NFL fans, come one.. waynkoun?

The Ravens defeated the Tennesse Titans 27-26 and are 7-2 now for the first time after trailing by 19 points: the biggest comeback in team history. And Steve McNair (former Titan) had a lot to do with it with his 29-47, 373 yards passing and 3 TDs.

Notes: The Ravens' previous biggest comeback was 17 points against Seattle on Nov. 23, 2003, a game they won in overtime.

Indianapolis Colts are still undefeated with their win over Buffalo and the Chicago Bears are now 8-1.

mmmm.. hello again.. seems I am replying to myself here :p

Well, the Ravens are now 8-2 !!! They defeated the Atlanta Falcons 24-10. Sams returned six kicks for 212 yards and Jamal Lewis tied a career high with three touchdowns on a 91-rushing yards, to lead the Ravens to their fourth straight win. Steve McNair went 24-for-34 for 236 yards.

Other than that, the Indianapolis Colts finally lost! Their first lost this season was to the Cowboys of TO (Terrel Owens). TO had 4 receptions for 70 yards.
Indianapolis is now 9-1.

Finally, Chicago Bears' defense showed why it is one of the best in the league by notching their second shutout of the season against the NY Jets 10-0. Chicago is now 9-1.

9-2 !!

The Ravens coasted to their fifth straight victory, a 27-0 blowout that left the defending champs Pittsburg Steelers with only a mathematical chance of reaching the playoffs.

Baltimore defense sacked Ben Roethlisberger, Steelers QB, nine times! Ray Lewis was back in this game, he had 6 tackles and 1 sack.

Baltimore now leads the AFC with 9 wins and 2 loses.

Default I have a little challenge for you Osiris! - 9th December 2006

Well since u love to speak about the baltimore ravens so much, how about we speak about teams that are closing in on the wildcard. First off, my team, the Romo's as I like to call them, The Dallas Cowboys, defeating the greatest team in the NFL this year, ending their undefeated streak 21-14, with a great performance by T.O and Roy Williams. And then defeating the NY Giants, in timely fasion 23-20, with a kick my newly acquired veteran kicker Martin "Automatica" Gramatica. ;) Clutch. Anyways AS we go along in this nfl season as it comes to a close this month, we get ready for playoffs, and playoff implication games. Please reply I will look forward to debating with you the results of this regular season. Ciao.
