Default NFL 2008-2009 Season - 15th October 2008

Greetings football fans!

The 2008-2009 football fan is on week 7 now, the NFC East seems dominating this season with 4 top notch teams: NY Giants, Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Redskins.

The Baltimore Ravens is starting a new rookie quarterback, Joe Flacco. Until now he threw 1 touchdown and a semi-dozen interceptions! They currently rank first on defense, but needless to say, defense alone cannot do much in this league.

What do you think of this season?

I think this season will witness the return of the Titans, they are 6-0 i guess... the Manning brothers are showing incredible leadership and improvement as QB's, yet it is sad that Brett Favre is now a Jets quarterbak, and that Brady is injured (i like Randy Moss alot, but i doubt the Pats will make it far this year).

We still miss Michael Vick, IMO one of the freshest and best QB's of the game (ever).

Last but not least, it is wonderful to have Kim Kardashian and Kendra Wilkinson and Gizelle Bundchen and JEssica Simpson cheering from the stands lol.

I am 7-0 in my fantasy league, and 2 weeks ago, massa7et l 2ared bi kappa

As for the season, our Cleveland Browns are back to their old habits. The titans seem impressive, they lost Vince Young but never missed a beat...
The Giants are still superbowl champs, Cowboys dealing with issues, Colts are disappointing, so are the Saints, Chargers, and Vikings, the Bears surprising, so has been Aaron Rodgers and Kurt Warner. Miami, SF, and to a lesser extent St Louis have not been a disaster, on the other hand, Cinci, Kansas City and Detroit have been a disaster. Gus Ferrotte is still starting in the league...

Some rookies have emerged such as Chris Johnson, Steve Slaton, Matt Forte, Desean Jackson, Matt Ryan, Jonathan Stewart...

Ravens vs. Titans is going to be a great game as well as the Eagles vs. Giants.

Who would have thought at the beginning of the season, that the final four would look like this.

The biggest surprise is the Cardinals..even though if you look at their offense , they have a pretty good one:
Anquan Boldin (WR)
Larry Fiztgerald (WR)
Kurt Warner (QB)
Edgerrin James (RB)
That is a heavy duty offense, but no one gave them a chance especially with a new coach..

The other surpirse for me is the Ravens, their defense has been the number one for couple years, but I was not expecting so much from the rookie QB Joe Flacco and their new coach..

Eagles and Steelers are not a surprise, except the way the Eagles made it to the playoffs. Keep in mind that is the 5th NFC Championship game for the Eagles in 8 years..
