Montreal Canadiens and the rest of the hockey losers !!

So any hockey fans here?

For those not living in North America or Russia, might not appreciate this game, but for us living here or especially in Montreal (where there are no other interesting sports)

So this year is the 100th anniversary of the team.

The season started very good with the acquisition of Robert Lang and Alex Tanguay, but both of them got injured and since then the team has been a bit more fragile.

But after Kovalev's return (our Rida Antaar :D ) the team is doing much better.

On friday there will be a game between the Canadiens and the Philadelphia Flyers....

GO Habs GO!!

PS: Leafs, Senators and Bruins suck !!!

Haha,
man the Canucks have a great team with the Sedin brothers and of course Sundin. Not to forget Roberto Luongo, the second best goalie in the league (after Brodeur of course).

Actually I think that they're equally strong, but Brodeur has been there for longer and his record speaks for itself.

On the other hand, if Tanguay and Lang manage to come back on full capacity, the Stanley cup won't be unreachable..

PS: I'm sorry Canucks dudes, but you have the Sharks and the Red wings in your conference.... there's no way you could match against these 2 beasts !!

The Canucks had a serious "finishing touch" problem, but it seems, from this month's results, that they worked on it. Also, Loungo's Subs just suck real bad. He was injured for about 2 months and the their net was receiving goals like crazy.

This games sucks, 7aj 3emlinli 7alkon ajeneb following a beykha game. the goalie wears silence of lambs type of clothes while he guards a goal 2 times smaller than him. Players score when they shoot hard and nobody sees the puck or where the other team's player is in the penalty box.
The game is very limited hence boring.

You obviously haven't followed a couple of games with a hockey connaisseur.

I used to think the way you did, but seeing that it's the only sport you could follow in Montreal, I had to learn the game.

The goalie's job is the hardest amongst all players.
There's no team that can get to the Stanley Cup without a good goalie.
And good goalie doesn't mean a big guy, it means someone who has good positioning, good reflexes and knows what decisions to took and at what time.

As for the players, you would see that the players who have strong shots are not the best scorers, it's the ones who have the best skills. i.e: How to manipulate the puck, how precise they are, etc etc

One game would change your whole perception of it, especially in Montreal where the stadium has been sold out in every single game for the past 4 years...Not to forget the amazing ambiance over there !
