The Lebanese National Team for Juniors has qualified to the semi final of the 19th Asian Basketball Championship for Juniors which is taking place in China, after beating the Korean National team 100-65. The Quarters results were in favor of the Lebanese National team as the following: (17-11), (47-31), (75-44) and (100-65).
Rodrique Akel was the top scorer with 27 points followed by Mohamad Hamdar with 21 pts.
Lebanon to meet China on Friday Sep. the 8h.
Note that the top 3 team of this championship will qualify to the World Cup Basketball Championship for Juniors which will take place next year in Canada.
