let the teams work on the new players and especially elie haber,he has the potential of being the lebanese version of O'neil
Elie has to work much harder to secure a place in the
starting five which he always demands He is still young
but he lacks basic basketball skills. They have to do
something about his weight too.

i have one question...why did the basketball loose some of its glow in the past years? we reached a golden time then suddenly everyone lost interest...i remember that we used to watch every game, cheering, supporting our teams step by step in arabic and int championships...now i barely hear any1 talking about it...

basketball is the only sport field we excell in...we were able to make HUGE achievements...too bad its not the same anymore :(

You have a point here lara, I think because 10 years ago we did not have a good federation, and then a new federation was elected and they worked on the teams and the level of the lebanese basketball went up, it started when Lebanon (Riyadi) ranked 3rd in Asia, and then we became the Arab champions etc... this evolution made people more interested in the Lebanese basketball. But now our level became more stable if i may say.
5 years ago the competition in the Lebanese championship was high which made the people more interested also about he basketball, as for now, the competition is no longer as it was, most of the teams are competing for the second place, thanks to Riyadi and Hariri's money.

SEAN LAMPLEY (201-G/F-79) is the 2nd import for Sagesse.
Lucious Wagner (193-G) will play tomorrow with Antranik replacing Jamal Walker.
John Thomas (176-G) will be playing with Riyadi in Dubai int'l cup.
