فاز منتخب لبنان للرجال في كرة السلة على نظيره الياباني(90-81) في المباراة التي أقيمت اليوم في اطار دورة كأس جونز الدولية الودية التي تستضيفها تايبه استعداداً لبطولة الأمم الآسيوية المؤهلة الى بطولة العالم.
وكان قائد المنتخب اللبناني فادي الخطيب أفضل مسجّل في اللقاء ب33 نقطة .وسجّل زميلاه براين بشاره 22 نقطة وعلي كنعان 10 نقاط. وسبق للبنان أن سحق منتخب تايبه "ب" بفارق 32 نقطة امس السبت. وخاض المنتخب اللبناني المباراة ضد اليابان بغياب فرومن جاكسون ومات فريجي.
وسيخوض المنتخب اللبناني مباراته الثالثة ضد نظيره الأردني عند الساعة الثامنة من صباح غد الاثنين بتوقيت بيروت.

Daniab who is this Daniel Feris? Ive been watching the games and the only

new player I saw was Jackson Vroman. He is a very good player but I dont

believe he is a regular starting center. If Matt Freige and Daniel Faris turn out

to be as good as him I believe we will have a very good chance in earning

the 2nd spot in the upcoming Asian tourney.

today lebanon lost to iran by 11 points . 81 - 70..

lebanon was leading all the time. In third quarter, irans NBA player and most important player fouls out ehadadi.. And lebanon was leading at the end of third quarter by 6 points.

one would say, its game over for lebanon? but guess what lebanon's american naturalized player vroman fouls out early 4th quarter. So iran without their best player, and lebanon without their naturalized player. 4th Quarter finished by a massive 17 point loss to lebanon ( 33 - 16)..


what an embarassment...


Freije played excellent. And it looks like fadi is like the third or fourth star on this team..
