Italy has lots of problems. Getting back to euro 2008, their goal vs romania came from corner kick and two goal vs france came from penalty + free kick.
The same is happening here.. 2 goals vs usa came from shots outside the box.
Also world cupp 2006 , despite winning same problems were there..

To be fair, Italy played much better than Egypt. Just check the number of shots on goals of both teams. Iaquinta simply couldn't score although he had so many chances. Italy was simply unlucky tonight while Egypt scored from a corner thanks to Hommos and that was enough for them to win.

IMO, having Cassano, Giovinco and Balotelli out of Italy's national selection is unjustifiable.

G.Rossi is one of the biggest talents comming out from Italy, in my opinion.

Giovinco and Balloteli are both participating in the Under-21 European competition, and in my opinion they are not up for the challenge in the Senior national squad. Giovinco barely plays for Juve, and Balloteli needs to improve his attitude if he were to reach any place in his career. Yes, not bringing Cassano was a mistake, but thats not Italy's problem, at the moment...there squad is simply just not the usual Italy.
